A new residential dining hallway!

Summer Olympics

USC has a tradition that is long of Olympic athletes. From 1904 to 2008, there has been almost 400 athletes who either went to the university before, during, or after their Olympic competition. USC has sent more athletes to your Olympics than any other university and our athletes have gained a total that is grand of medals.

The Expo Line is Finally Open!!!

After six years of expectation the expansion of Los Angeles’s light train train system (Los Angeles Metro) has finally exposed. Welcome Right Back, Pupils!

Summer is arriving at a close. Classes at USC resume next week. And probably the most things that are exciting happening on campus this week—our students are going in! Our campus is busy with students and families getting everything all set for the academic year. Welcome has officially begun week.

In between the necessary tasks like registering for the USCard , becoming acquainted with the libraries on campus, and choosing the dinner plan, students and parents have numerous events and tasks to select from during Welcome Week. There is certainly A welcome Reception specifically for moms and dads hosted by the USC Parents Council as well as the Office for Parent Programs to begin parents that are connecting all the resources our campus has to provide them. A lot of the academic departments on campus are holding open houses for students to come meet faculty, staff, and other current students inside their program. There is A work Study Job Fair and an Involvement Fair, as we find it’s important for USC students to lead a balanced life outside of the classroom in addition to inside the class room. During the evenings, you will find activities such as being a ‘Welcome Back Dance,’ a DJ performance, and— probably one of the most anticipated events— the Fall Carnival and Concert.

It’s refreshing to see familiar faces returning to campus after studying abroad or working over the summer.
